Getting back into things

It’s been about a week since I started to do something about getting the controls of my hand. And it’s slow it’s actually starting to come back, but I still can’t time. So I’m using the voice command program, which is actually working out pretty well. Better than I thought, it would actually, runs a bit slow but I think that’s because I just started using it. It’s still learning my voice so it makes a couple mistakes, but the most body types everything I say almost exactly. And for now, it actually is typing as fast as I could before my hands went bad.

But feels as though it takes a little bit more time to correct my work, but I feel like it’s worth it, it’s making correct to my work 10 times easier. I already noticed that my word and has started to change a little. Also started to think about my entire sentence before start saying it to, which is a bit difficult but at the same time it also makes writing much easier (well not really easier but much clearer.)

The thing I love the most though, is the fact that the mic is my cell phone; means I can actually listen to music on my phone while actually still typing. Which is perfect seeing that I can’t actually write while in complete silence. It seems odd but when it’s completely silent I kind of get distracted from what I’m supposed to be doing, or I end up watching TV to break the silence.

Have to spend a little bit more time training the voice command before I can actually start typing very quickly, and actually finish the novel’s I have planned. Which hopefully won’t take too long hopefully about a week or two. Then I should be able to write may be two or three pages a day, my ultimate goal would be 10 pages a day. That way I can finish the novel in actually 30 days, but it won’t be 300 pages because I would still need to correct what I did. It will be around 250, my goal is 50,000 words for each novel, so some might be a lot longer than 50,000 words, and then some might be around that lent.

Oh yeah and another thing I totally forgot to mention which is awesome, no more spelling errors. Though I still have to worry about the grammar part, which is probably what I have the most trouble with to begin with. Now I can focus only on getting my grammar skills in my punctuation skills to be better seeing that I don’t have to worry about spelling anymore. This will also help me with my speaking aloud; I have to slow down and speak more clearly, which is in a big deal. It’s just a habit that I need to actually get into. Seeing that I tend to start to speak quickly after a while.

Here’s hoping for the best, the next couple months is going to have quite a lot of writing to catch up on.
