I found a bunch of papers and pill bottles while clean up my room a few days ago, I learn two things from all the things I found one I don’t remember most of my life from a few years ago and I don’t want to remember what the pills I’ve taken were for and two I had just as weird of a view of reality even then. From a few of the stories I found that I had written, it was funny to see how bad my spelling and grammar was then, and to see how I tried my best to describe the things I saw all around me that I didn’t fully understand were not real. So I copped one of them today I checked the spelling and made it much easier to understand but for the most part it’s the same story. It’s odd though I remember the story better than my life from that time weird but I guess it’s for the best so here it is.
The lost Island
by: William Ollivierre
Our story starts off much like any other with someone in search of something. That someone is an explorer named Carl Netherwiths, a young guy only twenty four years to the day. And for his birthday he decided to go on a quest in search of something anything that no one has found before, it’s his wish to make a name for himself as an explorer, for finding something new and strange that no one will be able to believe. There is just one problem with that, he has no idea where to look or even what he will be looking for. He spends hours thinking about what he could search for but no matter what he thinks of, he knew he won’t be able to use it to bring him fame, for it has either been found or it has been proven to not be real. After much thought he decides to leave his journey up to faith, with that in mind he decides to take his boat out to sea.
As he set sail he thought about which way he should head, and a rumor came to mind about ships disappearing along the cost of a desert island, those who had went there before him had come back with nothing. But over the past few months there have been many ships lost there in fact no one had been there and came back over the past four months. This could be what he was looking for even if he didn’t find anything all he had to do was make it back from the island with prove that he had been there. This he thought would at least get him a good as a ship captain maybe then more people would hire him. He locked in the islands location in his specially designed navigation system he had built himself, it would take him straight to the island avoiding storms and shallow waters where he could run a shore on. The island was a long boat ride away from where he was, it would take a normal ship with crew five and a half days to get there from where he was but because he wasn’t driving there would be no need to run slower at night he could cut almost 2 days off that time and be there in little over four days.
His auto polite was set all he had to do now was wait, he graduated his equipment testing every peace to make sure it was in perfect working condition. He then cleaned them and packed them, making sure to take special care to put everyone in a place where it could be ready to use if he needed it. He even put it all on and practiced pulling each one as if he were in danger, he practiced all day long for three days. As the sun set on the third day of his journey he checked his Nav system he had twelve more hours to go before he would be at the island. He turned the engines down to add a few more hours to the time, it was time for him to start being careful it wasn’t too far from where he was now that ships started to go missing. He watched the sun sent as he drifted off to sleep he knew he would be needing his rest for the next day. He slept long as the ship slowly grew closer and closer to the island, the morning did not come quickly it took its own time as if to let him rest even more, he would need it.
