The night rushes over me, Dark and cold consuming every part of me, the moon light is bight but yet it is dark. The stench of blood is pungent in the air as the braze brushes across my face. I see them approaching from the distance getting closer and closer. The smell of blood is coming from their blood soaked claws. They soon spot me and began to circle me, pushing me back slowing, I am back into a corner without even knowing it. Their eyes glow a dark red, the chill of evil intent fills the atmosphere like static making the hair on my skin stand on end. The light from the moon fades into darkness, all that remains is there glowing red eyes pressing threw the darkness. My eyes slowly close as I await my faith, they lunge forward with their claws first ready to rip me to pieces.
Wait! Your probably asking yourself what’s going on right now so I’ll start from the begin. Let’s see I was born… no that’s too far back, okay my name is Will number 9875, this all started this morning with a letter from a nearby planetary shipping company.

Well of course I had to take the job, I mean opacity to lend a hand to someone in need, and it doesn’t hurt that I will be nicely rewarded for my trouble. I set off to the IPS shipping .Inc. headquarters, where I was greeted like a king, then instructed to the manager’s office. He was a short fella with a kind face, I wondered if he was like most corporate snakes on the inside though. I entered his office and the door began shut behind me as he got out of his chair and began to introduce himself “Good day sir my name is Mr. John D. Hendric..” the door snap shut at the last second and as it did Mr. Hendirc’s demander changed instantly, he fell to his knees, his face was at the brink of tears “Please please please sir I have heard so much about your strength, you must help me I don’t know where else to turn. I will pay you anything but we need your help now or I will be shut down.” He went on with his begging for a solid ten minutes, most of which I didn’t even hear took me some work but I manage to shut him up so I could talk to tell him I would except. As he explained the details of what had been happening I couldn’t help but wonder if the only reason they wanted me so much was because of my race and our inability to die, maybe these creatures would get bored trying to kill me, or did he think I could actually get rid of them.
It seems as though over the past few weeks a string of attacks have started, they have gotten more and more violent with each attack. They were strange animal like creatures, intelligent and very organized much more than simple pack animals. They had large claws and razor sharp teeth that they use to cut through the ships as they raided the cargo and attack the crew, though they seem more interesting in attacking the crew seeing that they only took small amounts of food supplies with each raid. As if they were taking back enough for the rest of the pack that wasn’t there, from this I gather they were between 100 to 200 of them in total which shouldn’t be that hard for me to wrap them all up in a matter of a day or two. I was given the locations of the past attacks which I used to fine the most likely ship they would attack next, so I headed straight there and waited for the attack.
As the sun rose its heat began to beat down on me, I found a nice cool spot to wait for the attack to come hoping it wouldn’t be soon. The sun rose to its highest point, I looked out across the scorched earth as the polite and crews loaded the ship and readied it to depart, so far everything was going well there were no creatures in sight. I rose to inspect the area as the ship began its flight checks to leave, they powered the engines up and cleared the lunch area. A loud explosion echoed across the lunch zone, I headed for the ships instantly, they were here. I arrived to see them clawing into the ship, they hadn’t caused any major damage yet they had only cut the flue lines to the engines. “Hey what do you think you’re doing get away from there!” I yelled trying to get there attention on me and off the ship. They didn’t even look at me out of the sides of their eyes “I’ll make you pay attention to me” I said to myself aw I grabbed a few rocks off the ground and threw it at what looked like the pack leaders head. “I said get away from there!”
Their attention was on me that time, I could almost feel them wanting to ripe me to pieces, yet they looked at me like a confused dog, it must have been the first time someone had stood against them. I could see why, they were like man and best combined, I had never seen anything like them all my life. They stood on two legs hunched over, their arms were long extending down almost to the knees, their claws long touching the ground they looked razor sharp and strong. They turned to me their eyes bright red as they stared at me, I felt a strange feeling almost like I could feel them trying to kill me in their minds, also something I had never felt from and enemy.
I knew I had to lead them away from the ship if the crew was going to do the repairs, seeing that I had just made their leader mad all I had to do was run. So I turned and ran as fast as I could looking back only once to make sure they were all coming after me. My first thought as I looked back was there only ten this shouldn’t be that hard to handle, I thought that there would be more. But I spoke to soon as more joined in the pack one, two, no ten more no, I think I might be in trouble. Before long I was being chased across the lunch zone by fifty of these killer creatures, what was I thinking to anger the leader now they all want me dead, at least their attention was all on me leaving the ship’s crew to get to work and lunch the ship. I took one more look behind me hoping that I was getting further away from them, but it seems as though they were catching up and they were doing it a lot faster that I thought. I had to do something to keep from being caught, “Active nannies now full imprint!” a sudden surge of energy went through my body this was it I was going to show them what I’m made of. Or so I thought the sudden surge of energy quickly turned against me as it started discharging from my body in extremely pain full bolts that were slowing be down instead of speeding me up. “Deactivate all nannies now.” I had to turn them off before they killed me apparently I still couldn’t handle using my powers while it was still day time, this was going to be a problem.
I was trapped running unable to use my powers to attack until the night fell, and see that it was the middle of the day I knew this was going to be a big problem. I headed as far as I could from the lunch zone hoping that they would lunch already, the lunch zone was the perfect place for me to hide, and there were no buildings for mile except there. Just as I was thinking that I caught a signal from the lunch zone, yes they were ready to lunch. The message came in slow “We are just about done with the repairs” yes “we need another hour before we can lunch please hold them off.” How can they be just about done and still need another hour, I hate these guys. But I had to do it, and do it I did, I turned a full one eighty and ran straight into the pack right at the leader, grabbed a rock from the ground and smashed it into his face, jumped on his shoulders, and off I went. Kicking the pack members in the face as I jumped from shoulder to shoulder, that sent them into a frenzy of anger all aimed at me. Which didn’t seem to make them less able to follow me as I tried running in zigzags, it just seem to get them even madder “who ever said it was a good idea to do that never ran from anything ahhhhhh!”
As I ran screaming and yell I couldn’t help but think this reminded me of something, it seems like this is all I do whenever I get in a fight I run for hours, I don’t think I have actually fought any of my enemies I’ve just run from them, it’s kind of sad to call myself one of the lender Wills, but I guess all that running has paid off, these guys don’t seem to be giving up for anything at all, or any time soon. I knew there was no way I could out run them for long, but it didn’t matter I only needed to for an half hour or so at this point but I didn’t know if I could even last that long running as fast as I could, no one has ever lasted this long. I had a plan that was sure to work all i had to do was find some place I could hide, if these creatures were hunters they would never give up just caused I hid from them it might even make them more interested.
unfortunately for me I was running in a valley with nothing in sight, that means if I was going to hide I had to make my hiding place, I had to think and think fast they were closing in on me more with each second, it was now or never and I knew what I could do. The valley was changing up ahead it was going from a grassy plan to a sandy desert this would be perfect for my plan. My hands went to my pockets and pulled a hand full of metal object from my pockets “active nannies two present” it’s as high as I could go during the day, I squeezed my hand tight as blots of energy surged around my fist, it would be just a bit longer. I felt my feet get heaver as I hit the sand, it was time I turned and threw the metal objects high in the shy, then turned and kept running, reaching for another hand full, turning and throwing them I kept doing this over and over again as I ran deeper into the desert. The creatures stopped dead in their tracks as they reached the area where I threw the first set, taking a few minutes to make sure the objects were not deadly, just what I needed that bought me enough time to get well into the desert, I was completely surrounded by sand my plan was set. I reached into my pocket and grabbed a few more handfuls of the metal objects tossing them all around me making sure they were spread out far from each other, with the last hand full I made a perfect circle around my feet. I looked up and waited I might not be able to use my powers but I could use some of my tools and its time I tested my newest one.
They approached me with great speed not caring where I had spread the metal objects, just what I wanted “Active ultimate trap wondering earth!” my voice echoed out, a smile on my face as the creatures grew closer and closer to me readying themselves for the attack, I drop to one knew and put one hand on the ground over the circle I had made. They came into rang and lunged at me there claws first ready to rip me apart “Wonder.” As the words were spoken the earth opened I fell in and it closed. I jumped out of the earth right behind the last member of the pack. The smile on my face grew even larger it worked now I could have some fun, I grab its leg picking it up as I jumped to my feet, I tossing it into the other pack members “hey what you doing running that way I thought you were coming after me!” I turned and began to run they all followed just like I thought they would. I jumped “wonder” as I landed the ground opened I was back where I started, “you guys are really bad at this!” I did the same thing until they decided to form a circle to catch me no matter where I showed up.
I jumped from the ground at the first place I had placed the objects there were none of them this far back, they had fell into my trap so easily “Wondering earth exploding maze trap!” My voice echoed and as it did hundreds of explosions went off. “Got you, you aren’t getting out of that and time soon.” I turned and ran heading back to the lunch zone, looking back to see the smoke settle and my earth maze standing tall. There was only one way out of the trap to solve the changing maze, no matter how strong or sharp there claws were they couldn’t cut their way out, the walls were made of sand no matter what they did the walls would just absorb the attack and rebuild itself instantly. Its constantly changing maze would surely keep anyone even me from getting out, at least until the sun set and it ran out of power. It was my greatest invention but it was only to keep enemies at bay till I was ready to fight them myself. I headed back to the lunch zone arriving just as the ships lunched, I hand finished the first part of the job now all that was left was to find out what these creatures were and destroy them. But that could wait till later, the sun was still high in the sky and I needed to rest, and prepare myself for the upcoming battle.
The sun began to set, I looked over the entire area and found just were I would fight the battle and prepaid myself, sitting at the entrance to the lunch zone waiting for the creature. My trap should be warring off in a few minutes I looked behind me as I watched the sun set, I felt my powers awaked as my eyes went darker than night itself I smiled I was ready. There claws hit the ground with a shutting sounds, “I thought you guys were faster than that” the area began to light up as it did I spoke “something tells me you aren’t just animals something tells me you’re a lot smarter than you let on, so tell me before we fight what are you?” The leader of the pack stood tall and turned to me then spoke “I guess you really aren’t one of these humans if you figured we weren’t animals, well we are the first of a soon to be army more powerful than you could imagine. We were built to protect a scientist close to ninety years ago, after his death we no longer had a porpoise but we were given one by our new leader. He helped us to find meaning and helped us break our one rule, that we cannot kill any humans, and killing that small boy that got in my way on the way here was very enjoyable.” My smile was wiped from my face and replaced with anger as it licked the blood from its claws. “My name is The Will Of Darkness, it was given to me 1500 years ago when I first came to this planet, and you will not be leaving this place.” My hands were raised above my head as They looked up there was a dome made of what looked like dust all around them, “It’s going to be a very dark night. Seal dome!” my words were meet by action instantly as the sand turned to a metal in an instant, “there is no escape for you now.” The light from moon and everything else outside fades the dome was now cut off, the creatures tuned to me and began their attack, I dogged them all as it faded to complete darkness. Then the voice of the leaded “you think this will stop us a little darkness we can still see you.” They continued their attack as I tried to calm myself talking to my self quietly “clam down will, you must calm down to beat them all, relax you will take revenge for the child.”
My smile returned it was time i started this fight, I stopped dogging their attacks and went straight forward, my first hit made contact with the leader knocking him back, they swung from all sides “Darkest night” I was gone “all the light will now be gone from this dome no matter what kind all you sensors you use if they rely on light of any kind they will be useless.” I jumped forward dropping the first one in front of me as the second attacked. “we can still see you” it spoke “that’s good then this will be fun” I replayed as I slide under him on my back kicking up sending in flying into the air, then moving faster than they could track, I was behind another in an instant my arms wrapped around it, I lifted and broth it back slamming it head first into the ground. “Coldest night, now all heat sources will vanish no heat can excite in here now” it grew cold as ice and in instant. Claws sung behind my head, I ducked and hit it dead center both fits, it was frozen then fell to the ground. I then ran around the outer edge of the dome, I wanted the leader, got him in my sights, my legs turned up the side of the dome they lunched me to him, I grabbed its head with both hands bringing my knee to its face, kicking off it’s chest with a flip. It lay on the ground “At this point you must only have your sound sensors to track me by, but not for long, I will take that to. Salient night.” There was no more sound at all, I turned and headed for the center of the dome, I sat legs folded and hands on knees.
A sudden flash of light came from every one of the creatures it lit the area and threw off my powers. It was weak but I heard its voice the leader of those things “we can still smell you.” The creatures all came running towards me. My smile was now a grin it was time for it all to end “Darkness controls the light it always has and always will. Light needles destroy everything!” A flash of light filled the dome millions of laser like lights shot from the dome, they passed threw everything in an instant. “The wired thing is that last flash of light you made was all I needed, you gave me the extra energy I needed for this attack” everything was frozen none of the creatures moved as I stood to my feet. “Unseal and return” the dome became black dust and circled my body as a black cloud that soon disappeared into my body. I turned, the sun was now rising I relaxed as all the buildings that were in the done feel to pieces, the pieces smashing into dust as they hit the ground. I felt a braze cross my face as I opened my eyes slowly, I was in the center of a perfect circle of nothingness “Deactivate”
