Living with MS can really suck sometimes, for me pain is nothing new and its actually very easy to deal with. But its the unusual pain that I can’t deal with. Like today I lay down and it begins my insides feel like they are being pulled out wrapped around a knife and stabbed back in. I almost started throwing up, then came the spinning and the red and black flashes.
Thing that makes this so hard to deal with isn’t the pain as much as it is everything else combined with the pain all at once its like my pain gets over loaded and can’t function for a while. My senses even go blank for a few seconds. I can’t see feel or hear anything else but the pain and the spinning and flashing for a few seconds before my mind starts to come back.
And it got worse when I thought it was all over I lay down after turning on my fan (also a side effect its in the 50’s and I’m hot all of a sudden). Then the pain starts like a knife being jammed into my side, and every time I try to inhale the pain shots deeper and gets worst keeping me from breathing. I almost passed out trying to take a breath, turns out not breathing magnifies pain quite a bit. Lucky my girlfriend got me to sit up before I passed out, which would have meant I would be back in the hospital if I didn’t.
Now I have to sit in front of the fan with my hands clod my stomach hot my legs warm and I actually can’t feel my back yet. Usually it helps having my whole body cool off, normally I open the freezer and stand in front of it, but this seems to be doing the same job.
