Have you ever searched your name on Google your name and see what you get it’s actually quite fun to see the things that show up. not only that but you never know what someone who has the same name as you likes. But have you ever really took the time to look at some of this stuff well i have a few times in fact i do it almost every week. first time i did i found a forum where i was being banned from with my user name. Turns out i didn’t join but the site i did join sold my user name to a different site which ended up using it as a fall name of some kind so when ever someone got mad they would be made at me. Luckily the admin who set it up used all the information my name and email address so i was able to reset the pass word and clear my name.
Well last night I googled my name and was a bit shocked, they weren’t even 400 results which i found shocking because the first time i googled my name there were about 5000 results and i couldn’t even find one that was relater to me. But last night it was hard finding one on the first 20 that weren’t me in fact there were only about three that weren’t related to me in anyway. Then something dawned on me every time you add you full name to something useful, such as being a member of something like digg of some firm, it starts to remove the random results about you. that and the fact that Google search has gotten a lot better over the past year alone means its easier to find yourself on the internet. I also have nine out of the top ten results which is good but i want all ten. I’ll tell and i recommend you Google your name make sure no one is trying to take it.
P.S. its kind hard for someone to say there you if you have the top ten results on Google saying they aren’t.
