Yesterday I was going through the tons of books that I have in search of a dictionary, and well I couldn’t find one. Its odd out of the many hundreds of books all around my house I could find a normal dictionary, I found encyclopedias but no dictionary weird right. But it wasn’t a total lost I did find a few books that I had forgot I even had. One of which is “Life’s little instruction book” by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. which oddly enough was printed the same year I was born, well the one I have anyway. It’s a nice little book with just things that a person should at least try to do to have a good life or a full filling one at least in the view of the author.
I read the first fifty out of the five hundred and found that I had done 17 of them, oddly enough all of the ones I did were pretty enjoyable, especially teaching a class though I don’t want to be a teacher it was very fun being one for a while. So I decided to do all 511 that I can do this year, should be interesting to do them all.
It’s funny though a few of them stood out that I found to be interesting and depending on how you look at them they can mean different things like “Don’t expect life to be fair.” I love this one cause it has a very good up side life can be unfair but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. So now I have 494 of them to go in less than six months wish me luck there will be a tally to show how man I’ve done so far .
