Website or blog

I have spent a few days doing research and looking around at many other blogs that have been around for a few years and have found they all have one thing in common. It is that they have more than just a blog they have a full website attached to their blogs and only one section of it is and actual updating blog. I thought about doing this to my blog but then realized that doing this would limit me more than give me more freedom. So I spent some time thinking about the layout and menus that I currently have and the ones that are on a stander website, I realized that the reason theses blogs had website behind them was because they had to have a menu style that WordPress could not handle at the time the blogs were created. Therefore, I have decided to change my menu and move a few things around so that it becomes easier to navigate my blog and at the same time give it the feel of a stander website without losing any of the functions and ability to do quick updating that WordPress offers.
